Supposedly, between the ages of 10-12, I had acne. However, since there aren’t many pictures (and all my school pictures were retouched by default), I don’t believe it. On the cusp of adulthood with few acne scars thanks to Tea Tree Oil, Vitamin E Oil, and a little Nadinola for the trouble spots. In case you can’t see what’s above, the products currently swear by are the following [from top to bottom]:
St. Ives Green Tea Scrub – Spectro HydraCare Moisturizer – St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser – St. Ives Mineral Clay Mask
Facial Exfoliation Brush – Montagne Jeunesse Green Tea / Passion Peel-Off Mask – Freeman’s Cucumber Peel-Off Mask
I double checked on my last visit to Walmart (mind you, this is in Canada, so I have NO IDEA what is available in Walmarts/K-Marts worldwide), and I found everything pictured here all within the same general area. The thing I love about St. Ives and Spectro products is that they’re always marked down and have coupons available.
ST. IVES GREEN TEA SCRUB + GREEN TEA CLEANSER
I LOVE BOTH OF THESE. Typically, I use about half a pump of the cleanser in the morning when I wake up in the shower and then rinse it off. The scrub I use usually at the end of the day with the exfoliating brush to get out any leftover dirt, make-up, and impurities out of my pores.ST. IVES MINERAL CLAY MASK
When I first bought this one, i used to use it really often. That really dried out my skin, so now I only use it weekly. Great after long nights I find, completely gets rid of my puffiness. A little on my bags, let it sit, then rinse off with the cleanser in the shower.SPECTRO HYDRACARE MOISTURIZER
Whether it is raining, snowing, windy, or sunny, this is my ultimate go to moisturizer. You see that bottle there? I've had that same bottle for about a year now, which means I basically spent only a dollar a month on moisturizer for the past 12 months. I only use half a pump, and what I love about this is that my face doesn’t feel tight or oily. Currently I'm using the one for dry skin (blue), but it’s also available for acne prone skin (purple) and normal skin (orange).FACIAL EXFOLIATING BRUSH
If you know me, you know I’m cheap. Since Samantha posted about her brush (I think she was using the one from OLAY, the post seems to have vanished!), I’ve been on the look out (when I remember) to find one. Recently, I popped into Walmart looking for bags of candy and stumbled upon this, FOR EIGHT DOLLARS. Now, I’ve never used one of the name brand/more expensive ones, but this does it for me. Three different rotators (one brush, one sponge, and one massaging head), and two different speeds (high / low) is all I need.
assorted masks
I found these while actually heading for the candy, they were 1.57-1.99 each. I bought these really as testers, along with the Pink Grapefruit Exfoliating Scrub (smelt amazing, but I won’t be repurchasing because it supremely dried out my face). Since I’m always on the go and travelling, I think these are perfect options for the traveler, especially since I’m pretty sure it’s within the restrictions for carry-on luggage via air at .5 fl oz/15mL.

Just like the girl above me, I too used and still use St. Ives Apricot scrub and it is amazing! I have very sensitive skin and it appears you and I are on the same page as far as simple, hypoallergenic products. I'm really excited to try out the St. Ives Mask as well as this 'Spectro" you've mentioned. Thanks for the post!

STIVES is my favorite product! Especially the apricrot scrub! It does wonders to my face and I always do it before applying my makeup. Makes my face (literally) look like a baby's bottom. =D
